For interested Alumni, the purpose of the mentorship program is to pair a Det 890 alumni as a mentor to an upperclass cadet in the detachment for their personal and professional development, in preparation for active duty. The guidelines for the program align with the Air Force Handbook (AFH) 36-2643, Air Force Mentoring Program, found below.
